Ingredients

  • 5-6 medium size potatoes 
  •  3 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 3  tablespoon oil
  • 2 dry red chili
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder (Kashmiri Mirch)
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • Salt to taste

How to cook step by step


1.  Boil potatoes until cooked. Peel and cut the potatoes into four pieces.



2.  Blend tomato, dry red chili, and garlic and make them into a paste.




3. Heat the pan on medium flame and put 4  tbsp oil  



4. Now stir-fry the sesame seeds for about a minute until seeds lightly change color.



5. After that put the paste and cook until the aroma of tomato paste goes.



6.  Add red chili powder ( Khasmiri Mirch), turmeric powder and salt to taste. I want to recommend Kashmiri mirch because it gives you very good color no artificial mixture and not so spicy. You can utilize this powder while making some dishes for children.


7. Presently, if you feel that the paste is being excessively dry then you can add one cup of water also.
Wait till the bubbles start to pop up.   



8. Now you can put potatoes and stir them very gently.



9. Transfer into serving bowl and serve hot.
